Several in the front row sit with palms pressed together in anjali, and some hold small lit candles or oil lamps. A front-center bald man in white and orange with a red tilak and folded hands is prominent, with other devotees, plastic chairs, backpacks and cases visible at the back of the room. Most attendees wear white shirts or kurtas with rudraksha malas, and several have vibhuti or tilak marks on their foreheads. In the front row, a man in a white kurta and rudraksha mala sits beside a man with a red shawl and a man in a saffron-orange robe. Behind them, rows of seated devotees fill the space, many in white, with a few in dark or patterned clothing. A figure in a saffron-orange robe sits in the front centre, and a sannyasi-style robe appears among the seated group. No one in the image is identified by face. +1 copiesMay 20 20122012-05-20 +1 copiesA seated congregation in a hall, mostly men, with many people sitting cross-legged on light blue-striped mats. In the foreground a man in a dark grey t-shirt and white dhoti sits with palms pressed together in namaskar, and beside him a man in a white kurta with red lanyard also holds palms together. A bald man in a white kurta and rudraksha mala sits with eyes closed, and a man in a yellow shirt with red mala sits to the right. Behind them rows of men in white and pastel shirts sit on red chairs, and two small children in front wear a green top. The scene suggests a satsang or meditation session, with people in quiet, eyes-closed attention.2011-07-05
