A photograph of a padapuja ritual: a large silver pedestal holding a pair of gold paduka (sandals) decorated with white flower garlands sits on a red patterned rug. A smaller silver tray with a gold paduka pair and a white garland rests on a blue striped cloth. Scattered pink petals lie on the rug. At the right edge, a seated person wears orange ochre robes, with bare feet resting near the petals. The scene suggests a footwear-worship offering, with no face visible.2004-06-12Photograph of a ritual arrangement for a paduka puja. A large silver pedestal with a lotus-petal base holds a gold paduka pair, both wrapped in white jasmine garlands with green leaves, set on a silver tray. A smaller gold deity figure in a tray sits on a blue striped cloth, also garlanded with white flowers. Scattered red flower petals lie on the red carpet at right. No people are visible.2004-06-12June 12 20042004-06-12Close-up photograph of a padapuja ritual: a seated person's bare feet rest on a silver tray shaped like an elephant, surrounded by pink, yellow and white flower petals and white jasmine-like blossoms, with a small gold ornament placed among them. The person wears a saffron-orange cloth draped over the legs. On the left, a hand with a gold ring holds a flower above the tray. Silver bowls sit on a gold-plated pedestal with ornate gold carved panels, and green leaves frame the background.2009-08-15Close-up photograph of bare feet in a silver tray resting on a deep red velvet cloth. The person wears orange-saffron robes visible at top left. The tray holds white flowers, green leaves, a red flower, rudraksha beads, and two small gold-coloured ceremonial pots or kalasha-like vessels beside the feet. No faces are visible.2011-10-10Close photo of a padapuja ritual. A bare foot rests on a silver tray filled with red and yellow flower petals and garlands. The foot belongs to a person in a rust-orange garment with gold border seated behind an ornate silver-gilt structure. A second person in white cloth sits at right, partly visible, and a bare-backed person in the foreground faces the scene. Ornate metalwork and silver vessels fill the frame.2017-10-12Close-up of a ceremonial silver tray filled with yellow marigold petals, red flower petals and white jasmine garlands, holding a golden ornamented plate with two small golden finial-topped vessels, possibly kalasha or puja objects. A red velvet cushion sits beneath the tray, and a gold embossed cloth lies at left. At the upper left, the orange robed lap of a seated person with hands folded is partly visible, while pink and purple flowers appear at right. The arrangement suggests a puja offering, with no clearly visible deity form or identifiable person's face.2009-01-01November 15 20102010-11-15Close photo of a bare foot in a puja setting. A person in orange saffron robes stands at the right, with only the foot and lower orange garment visible. The foot rests on a golden tray surrounded by silver bowls and dishes holding white and pale offerings, pink roses, white flower petals, and a gold beaded garland with a small gold pendant. Silver vessels fill the foreground and background. This looks like a padapuja or foot-worship offering, though only the foot is shown. The orange robe identifies a sannyasi, but no face is visible, so the identity of the person cannot be confirmed from this image.2010-10-26January 13 20172017-01-13July 19 20132013-07-19August 08 20102010-08-08 +1 copies
