A covered outdoor kitchen under a corrugated metal roof with fluorescent tube lights, where volunteers prepare food for a large gathering. Green metal tables are covered with rows of white idlis or rice cakes laid out on cloth. A man in a white sleeveless vest and white dhoti stands beside a steel pot, another man in white with a pink-and-white cloth over his shoulder works in the background, and a person in a bright orange wrap and blue skirt stands at the right with a steel vessel. Large steel cooking pots and a round steel tray sit on the floor, and a blue cloth backdrop with red and orange star-pattern motifs hangs behind the tables.

Night-time annadan food service at an illuminated outdoor ashram courtyard, with strings of coloured fairy lights and a tall ornamental lamp post behind. Many people queue along steel serving counters: monastic-style figures in saffron-orange robes and matching sashes, some wearing white head-caps and hairnets, serve food onto plates. Women in orange and red saris and saffron salwar suits, a girl in a pink top, and children with shaved heads and rudraksha malas hold plates. A boy in orange and red wears spectacles and a mala. No clearly identifiable a person is visible among the serving figures, so the identity is uncertain.

Night-time outdoor kitchen under a large tree, lit by strings of small white lights along a wall. In the foreground a man in a white shirt and red-and-white lungi stands at a dark metal counter where round flatbreads are cooking on a flat griddle. Behind him a large dark pot sits on a table, and at right a second cook in a white vest tends a grill with glowing charcoal. Plastic chairs, steel vessels and several onlookers in the background; a few people stand near the tables at right. No visible a person candidate.

Night outdoor scene on a paved path where volunteers serve food from a long table draped in orange and red cloth. Metal pots and steel pans of curry sit on banana leaves, and a man in white dhoti and shirt with a shaved head and bare upper body ladles food. Nearby, a man in white with a hairnet serves from a pot, and a man in white with a camera around his neck watches. Men in white clothes and hairnets work the line; a woman in a red sari stands in the background. Behind them are a water jug and a red pillar. A man at left wears a garland of white and red flowers and a tilak. A man at left wears a white dhoti, glasses and a red lanyard and places food on leaves.

A photograph of a man in an orange-red robe and orange shawl standing at a black cooking griddle, using two long metal spatulas to flip round dosas. Several golden-brown dosas are cooking on the griddle, and a steel vessel sits on the right. Behind him are yellow curtains with red floral print and a grilled window. He has a short tilak mark on his forehead.
