Behind them, a silver-embossed throne with lion motifs. Nearby, a young woman in a grey dotted sari, a standing man in an orange robe with a rudraksha mala, a woman in white with a mala, and children in orange and red clothing watch the blessing. The smoke suggests incense or a ritual fire. Swamiji (probable) is seated in the centre, identified by long swept-back hair, a heavy gold necklace and rudraksha malas over orange clothing.2013-06-13A photograph of a ritual at night showing a long-haired man seated on a silver-framed throne, wearing saffron-orange clothing with a gold border, layered gold and bead garlands, a rudraksha mala and gold bangles. He pours or drips a thin stream of liquid over the shaved head of a young boy kneeling before him, who wears an orange robe and a rudraksha necklace. Behind them, several other saffron-robed attendants and shaved-headed monks stand, one with white markings on the forehead. A brass vessel sits at the lower right.2013-07-22A seated figure in an orange-red robe with a long gold bead necklace and a dark rudraksha-style mala sits on a leopard-print cushion before an ornate silver frame, extending an orange cloth over the head of a kneeling woman in a white sari with a gold border and glasses. A shaved-headed man in orange kneels beside her, smoke rises in the foreground, and standing attendants in orange and saffron watch behind them. The scene appears to be a blessing or darshan in an outdoor courtyard. Behind them stand several young people in orange and saffron robes, one in a brown garment, and a pink-trimmed orange sari. The setting is night, outdoors, with a red structure in the background. Behind them stand two young girls in orange and maroon robes, one with a white tilak on her forehead, and a young man in a brown robe holding up a white thread. The setting appears to be a dim outdoor pavilion with a metal roof. The man in ornate saffron attire with rudraksha malas and long hair is a probable Swamiji, seated on the throne in the central role of tying the thread for the kneeling devotee.
