A night photograph of a large outdoor ritual field filled with rows of black Shiva lingams, each draped in white cloth with coloured borders, many topped with flower garlands. In the foreground, hundreds of small clay oil lamps with flickering flames line the stone steps and ground. Standing devotees are visible in the far background beneath festive lights, and the scene reads as a mass abhishekam or lingam puja arrangement. No identifiable person is shown in the foreground.2009-08-052010 - Photo AlbumNight-time outdoor ritual on a paved court lit by rows of oil lamps. Rows of black stone Shivalinga-style forms draped in white cloth with yellow and red-green garlands sit along the left side, one topped with a red and white turban-like cloth. At the right, a woman in an orange sari stands beside a tray of lit lamps, and a woman in a beige top kneels at the front, arranging lamps on the ground. Many white-clad people sit in the background behind a blue rope barrier, with strings of small red lights and tall white pillars beyond.2011-04-17Night outdoor gathering at a temple-style ground, with a large crowd of devotees seated on the bare ground in rows facing a raised white platform on the left. Many people wear white dhotis and shirts, while women wear saris in orange, red, and pink. Several people sit with palms pressed together in prayer. In the foreground, a long metal table holds rows of small clay oil lamps burning with flickering flames, and more lamps are scattered across the platform. A string of small lights runs along the back, and a white pillar stands at the left edge. A lone figure in white sits on the platform near the pillars.2011-04-17February 11 20072007-02-11December 12 20162016-12-12December 02 20172017-12-02April 17 20112011-04-17August 01 20082008-08-01November 10 20112011-11-10August 03 20092009-08-03December 02 20172017-12-02
