Night outdoor gathering at a temple-style ground, with a large crowd of devotees seated on the bare ground in rows facing a raised white platform on the left. Many people wear white dhotis and shirts, while women wear saris in orange, red, and pink. Several people sit with palms pressed together in prayer. In the foreground, a long metal table holds rows of small clay oil lamps burning with flickering flames, and more lamps are scattered across the platform. A string of small lights runs along the back, and a white pillar stands at the left edge. A lone figure in white sits on the platform near the pillars.
