July 13 20032003-07-13A seated figure in orange robes and an orange turban sits on an ornate carved wooden throne with a red velvet back, decorated with pink and white flower garlands, in front of green drapes. He wears a long orange-and-gold garland and a gold necklace. Before the throne, a man in white kurta-pyjama dances or bends forward holding a red-rimmed tray, and small brass bowls of flower petals and marigold heaps sit on the floor. To the right, a man in white holds a cane or wand, and another in white stands beside him. The setting appears to be a hall with a patterned red carpet and a small table holding brass vessels.2003-07-13A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate carved wooden throne draped with white and pink garlands, wearing an orange turban, orange cloth and a beaded necklace with a flower garland. A kneeling man in white clothes, seen from behind, bows toward the throne near a brass vessel and a rising haze of incense smoke on the floor. A white-draped pillar with blue and gold tinsel stands at right, and a small table with brass items and a potted plant sits beside the throne. Lattice window at upper left. The seated figure's appearance is uncertain, so no identity is asserted.2003-07-13November 05 20102010-11-05November 05 20102010-11-05August 30 20092009-08-30Photograph of a pushpabhishekam-style ceremony on a decorated stage. A seated figure in saffron-orange robes and an orange head wrap sits on an ornate carved wooden throne with a padded maroon back, framed by an arch of white and red flower garlands and a lit light arch. Heaps of yellow and orange marigold garlands lie at their feet and rose petals are scattered. A man in a white kurta and dhoti tilts a large brass pot over the seated figure's head, while women in white saris with orange borders hold offering trays and a boy in white stands at right holding a tray. A saffron cloth hangs in the background and a banner with yellow and green trim frames the top.2008-11-12A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate gold throne draped with red cushions and a garland of yellow, orange and purple flowers. The figure wears an orange robe and a white and orange flower garland, with bare feet resting on a gold footstool strewn with pink petals. A man in white ritual clothes and a red-beaded necklace kneels before him with palms joined, while another man extends a hand toward him. To the right, two women in green and red saris kneel beside a silver plate of yellow flowers and a kalasha-style brass vessel. A low table on the left holds red boxes and fruit. Gold curtains form the backdrop. The seated figure shows distinctive saffron-clad ceremonial cues and is an appearance-based probable candidate for a person, shown in person in the scene.2009-08-16A seated figure in an orange saffron garment with long, swept-back dark hair sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne with a red cushion and a small footstool, bare feet resting on the step. Behind him a large printed backdrop shows a figure in orange with rudraksha malas. A shaved-headed man in white robes kneels on the floor at lower centre, holding a long staff upright, and several women in white saris sit on the floor at right. A standing attendant in white with an orange shawl is at far right. Gold kalasha-style ornaments, marigold and multicoloured garlands hang from the stage, and brass lamps and fruit or flower offerings lie in the foreground.2007-02-24A photograph of a stage set for a ceremony. A figure with long dark hair in a saffron-orange robe stands beside an ornate gold throne with a red cushion, garlanded with white jasmine and orange-yellow flowers, under a golden canopy. A man in a white dhoti and striped shirt prostrates himself at the base of the dais. A woman in an orange sari and two young men in white ritual dress stand to the right near a red curtain, with a pillar wrapped in red flowers. Overall the scene looks like a devotee's padapuja-style honouring before a throne.2008-12-23November 05 20102010-11-05July 13 20032003-07-13
