Outdoor ritual gathering at an open-air pavilion with a large fire pit and offerings. A man with a shaved head and bare upper body sits cross-legged on a raised platform near a golden throne-like seat draped in red and garlanded, with a deity murti decorated with flower garlands nearby. Behind him, a man in orange clothing tends the ritual fire. In the foreground, a large black Nandi statue is covered with a red cloth and marigold garlands. Rows of seated devotees fill the ground: many women and girls wear white, others wear orange or maroon, with orange shawls over white clothes. A tripod-mounted video camera stands at right, and a banner with a colourful map-like graphic hangs in the background.
