A large seated gathering of devotees in white dhotis and shawls with gold-bordered yellow-and-white cloths, palms pressed together in prayer on a hall floor covered with orange mats. Brass plates holding flowers, fruit and small oil lamps sit in front of them, and several flames are lit along the rows. A foreground man with a tilak on his forehead and a woman with long hair in a gold-bordered sari are prominent, eyes closed. The scene appears to be a ritual satsang or puja in a hall with a red and white draped ceiling. No figure is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance alone.

A photograph of a large hall where rows of men sit on orange and maroon mats for a pada puja. Front-row priests with shaved heads wear white dhotis with maroon borders and rudraksha malas, hands folded in namaste or pressing palms together in prayer. Brass plates, small oil lamps and flower offerings sit on the mats in front of them. Behind them, seated lay devotees in white shirts, kurtas and casual clothes watch with hands joined, and a few standing men stand at the back near a doorway. No a person candidate is clearly visible, so the a person field is none.

Several young men in white dhotis wear rudraksha malas, and some hold small brass vessels. Women in saris and salwar kameez sit among the crowd, and a few devotees wear dark or colourful shirts. Hanging orange and yellow decorations line the upper edge of the hall, and smoke or incense haze drifts through the air. The frontal dais and deity area are visible at the upper left.
