A woman in an orange sari with her hair in a bun stands at left, holding a brass oil lamp (aarti) in one hand and offering flowers with the other toward a seated figure. The seated figure is a life-size statue or portrait-like depiction wearing a red-orange turban, a red-orange shawl, and layered yellow and white flower garlands, seated on a pink and gold cloth-draped platform. In front is a pink cloth-covered offering with a coconut-like fruit decorated with marigolds and green leaves, and a brass plate with a lit oil lamp, a small bell-like vessel and a spoon. Behind is a black Shivalinga on a gold-trimmed pillared hall with ornate golden columns and trees beyond. This is a temple-hall puja scene; the seated figure appears to be a statue or depiction rather than a living person.2022-12-10Photo 99191142022-05-22 +1 copiesA woman in an orange sari with a gold border and an orange blouse stands with her back to the camera in a golden temple hall, reaching up toward a lamp near a staircase.
