In front of it, a yellow-draped table holds a platter of pink and red flowers, oil lamps and brass dishes. Three women kneel on a mat in the foreground: two in orange sarees with palms joined, and one in a white garment seated at left. Brass oil lamps stand on either side, with potted plants and smaller murtis of deities in red and pink in the background.2022-07-21A woman in a red and gold saree sits on the polished floor of a gold-decorated temple hall, performing an aarti with a lamp in front of a seated figure on an ornate golden throne. The seated figure wears a red turban, rudraksha and bead necklaces, a garland of white and red flowers, and a leopard-print shawl over a cream garment, with raised right hand in blessing. The throne has an arched golden backrest and sits beside a tall brass lamp stand and a small golden elephant. A flower-filled plate and small brass vessels lie on the floor, and potted plants and a green deity statue stand nearby. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure's red turban, layered rudraksha malas, garlands and leopard-print shawl are the cues.2022-01-24Feb 3 2022 sripuram2022-02-03
