A dark rudraksha mala hangs from his neck and his hair is worn in matted locks. Flames and smoke rise from the pit, with a coconut placed in the fire, brass vessels on the ground, and a brass lamp stand at left. Two shirtless men in saffron-orange dhotis stand before a blazing homa fire with rising smoke. The man on the left, with a topknot of dreadlocks, pours a liquid from a silver vessel into the flames; a rudraksha mala and ceremonial beaded necklaces hang on his chest. The man on the right, with a full beard, dreadlocked hair and a red tilak, wears a saffron shawl over orange cloth and stands with hands near a brass bowl. Brass plates and a golden trident-like object are visible in the background, with a carved gold-toned wall behind. Copper-colored bowls sit on the altar stone in front of the fire.2021-03-05A priest with long dreadlocked hair stands bare-chested beside a yellow brick fire pit, wearing an orange cloth wrapped at the waist and over the shoulder, with a rudraksha mala draped across his chest. He holds a bundle of ritual items over the flames and pours or offers into the fire during a homa. Behind him, an ornate golden arch frames a dark ganesha-like deity murti decorated with colourful jewelled garlands and an orange cloth, with a golden kalasha-style lamp stand at left and gold-draped figures in the background.2021-03-06April 11 20182018-04-11 +1 copies
