A group of about fifteen children in white clothes sit on mats, many raising lit oil lamps or flames toward the shrine, while an adult man in a white dhoti and shirt kneels at the front holding a brass vessel. The setting is a temple courtyard with trees and concrete walls.2007-03-06Night photograph of a procession at an outdoor temple site lit by a nearby lamp. In the foreground a figure in a saffron-orange robe with an orange head wrap walks forward, appearing to be a sannyasi or devotee, with long dark hair. Behind him a line of men in white dhotis and white shirts carry ornate multicoloured parasols with fringed tassels, some with orange scarves draped over their shoulders. On the right, a man in a white dhoti and shirt holds a cloth bundle while another worker in dark clothes stands near a bamboo scaffold framework of a structure under a leafy tree. The setting appears to be a temple construction area with a pale concrete wall in front.2006-12-20May 24 20182018-05-24October 16 20102010-10-16 +1 copiesSeptember 17 20172017-09-17 +1 copies
