Many people in white dhotis and saris, some with red and gold shawls and rudraksha-style neck garlands, sit on the floor facing a raised stage. On the stage, several robed people stand near a golden shrine-like backdrop with an ornate deity murti at its centre. A video camera on a tripod records the scene, and two large screens on either side show colourful devotional imagery. A small boy in a blue shirt stands on the floor near a wooden box. Several people sit in front of a metal barrier, and a few standing figures are visible at the left. The composition is a wide view of the assembly.2015-07-31February 23 20072007-02-23A large crowd sits on a red carpeted floor under a white tented pavilion hung with colourful paper lanterns and fairy lights. In the right foreground, a long-haired man in an orange and purple robe sits with palms pressed together, apparently the swami figure, with a distinctive long swept-back hair and orange clothing; the identity is uncertain from appearance alone. Around him, devotees wear white dhotis and garlands of white and red flowers, many with sandalwood or vibhuti marks, some with hands folded in namaskar. Women wear saris in yellow, green, pink and purple. Video cameras on tripods film the gathering, and ornate arches frame a shrine area at the back.2016-12-19July 08 20172017-07-08 +2 copiesJuly 17 20162016-07-17December 28 20142014-12-28December 31 20182018-12-31November 01 20152015-11-01A large tented hall at night filled with hundreds of seated devotees, most men bare-chested in white dhotis with rudraksha malas, sitting on colourful striped mats. A central raised stage holds an ornately decorated shrine and a golden-clad figure seated on a throne amid garlands and plantain-leaf decor. Hanging paper lanterns, streamers and colourful pennant ornaments fill the ceiling. A camera operator on a tripod films at the front, and a bare-chested man in a white dhoti stands on the left near the mats.2016-12-05
