July 02 20042004-07-02Night-time outdoor ceremony at an open paved courtyard during the Gurupurnima flag-hoisting rite. A man in a saffron-orange sleeveless garment with rudraksha beads sits on a red quilted seat and pulls a rope to raise a flag, holding its cord with both hands. Around him, several men in white dhotis with saffron shawls and one man in a light-saffron robe stand attentively; a woman in a yellow shawl and others in saffron shawls watch. A brass vessel with a green leaf rests on a small wooden stool at left, and a red cloth lies on a chair. The seated man resembles the a person candidate with saffron-orange clothing and beads, though the appearance is uncertain.2008-03-26July 02 20042004-07-02July 02 20042004-07-02March 28 20082008-03-28A seated man in a rust-red robe with a leopard-print headband and long rudraksha malas sits on an ornate silver throne with red cushions. Two devotees in orange garments and white tilak stripes kneel near his feet, one tending to his feet while another holds a white cord. Standing behind, young women in orange saffron dress with rudraksha malas watch, one holding a mobile phone. A silver ornamental backdrop and gold pillars frame the scene at what appears to be a ritual setting. The central figure's appearance is consistent with the page's claim, with cues of long swept-back hair, a headband, rudraksha malas and gold necklace, so this is a probable Swamiji (probable) seated in a ritual role.2017-12-10 +1 copiesOctober 12 20172017-10-12December 20 20122012-12-20A photograph of a bare-chested figure in an orange-saffron turban and ochre cloth seated and placing both hands on the forehead of a kneeling man in a white shirt with a red rudraksha mala. Behind them standing and seated people in white clothes and a woman in a light blue sari watch; floral garlands with pink flowers are visible. Setting is an indoor hall at a darshan session. The turbaned figure has distinctive saffron turban and ornate-appearance cues, so this is a person candidate in person, while the kneeling man is a devotee receiving blessing.2003-04-20January 31 20092009-01-31June 03 20182018-06-03A seated man in saffron-orange robes and a long purple orchid garland sits on an ornate silver-and-cushioned throne draped with a leopard-print cloth. Before him, a bald man in white clothes with an orange shawl kneels on a white fluffy rug, hands pressed together and holding a small offering, in what appears to be a padapuja. Behind them, several people in white and orange-red garments stand and sit in a room with a golden-yellow screen, a potted plant and a wooden floor. A small pink-and-orange figurine lies on the floor at the throne's base.2012-12-18
