October 11 20152015-10-11A seated figure in a saffron-orange robe with a matching turban and a multi-strand rudraksha-style bead necklace sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, a tiger-striped cloth draped over its base, before a magenta backdrop of carved temple figures. A bald priest in an orange dhoti with a gold border, a beaded bracelet and a bead mala stands at left, raising a silver multi-branched lamp in an aarti gesture. Brass oil lamps and a trident stand on either side of the throne, and a red valance hangs across the top. Probable Swamiji (saffron robe, turban and ceremonial gold-bead necklace on the throne) being honoured with lamp aarti during a satsang setting.2015-10-09A photograph of a ceremonial aarti in a hall. In the foreground, a bare-chested priest with a shaved head, wearing a red-and-gold dhoti-style cloth and a beaded rudraksha-type mala, raises a silver multi-flame lamp high with his right arm. Seated on an ornate gold throne with a tiger-skin cushion is a figure in saffron robes with a saffron turban, a rudraksha mala and a gold-coloured necklace, with a tiger-skin cover on the footstool. The backdrop is a purple cloth printed with large deity figures, flanked by tall brass lamps and a brass trident, with a red valance above. Appearance cues for the seated figure are visible but the image is small, so identity is uncertain; the seated figure is described by role only.October 11 20152015-10-11A photograph of a ritual aarti on a stage before a large painted backdrop of Shiva with a trident, a fierce blue figure with a club and a bull-headed demon. A man with a shaved head and a wrap of saffron-orange cloth, seen from behind, lifts a tall multi-tier brass lamp with many lit oil lamps. A woman in a white sari kneels at the side with her hands near the flame. Before them is a gold-framed throne holding a seated figure in pink robes with a rudraksha mala, flanked by a tiger skin on the platform. Brass lamp stands and a trident stand near the seat. Floor cloth in red and pink.2015-10-11October 16 20152015-10-16February 10 20132013-02-10A photograph of a ceremony rotated on its side. A figure in a maroon robe with a pink-and-white flower garland sits on an ornate gold throne, with a gold canopy behind. To the right, a painted image shows a deity with a large face and an ornate crown beside a golden trident. In the foreground, a blurred person in a light-coloured garment holds a lit flame and offerings, and a bright oil lamp flame burns to the right. Red drapery forms the backdrop.2016-10-06A photograph taken through a parted red velvet curtain of a seated man on an ornate gold throne (peetha) with a tiger-striped cloth draped over it. The seated man wears a saffron-orange robe with gold borders, a rudraksha mala necklace, a red bindi and a bracelet, and smiles with his hands near his chest. In the foreground a shaven-headed priest in an orange-brown dhoti and shawl, seen from behind, holds a lit aarti lamp toward him. To the left stands a painted deity murti with four arms, golden crown and jewellery, and an orange-pink dhoti. Hanging brass lamps are visible above. One seated person and one standing priest are visible, with a deity statue; the seated figure appears to be a person by saffron robe, rudraksha mala and gold-trimmed throne cues, shown in person.2013-05-12A photograph of a stage at a KAILASA satsang with a red curtain and carved wooden lion-bracket pillar at left. A seated man in saffron-orange robes and an orange-and-maroon turban sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, wearing a white flower garland and a gold necklace with rudraksha beads. In the foreground, a blurred figure in orange clothing with white horizontal tilak lines on the arms holds a lit flame in a metal vessel. Brass oil lamps stand on the stage, and a large painted deity mural with multiple arms fills the upper right background. Swamiji (probable) is seated on the throne, identified by the turban, saffron robe, rudraksha necklace and garland together with the throne setting.2016-09-30Photo of a gilded ornate throne with a tiered golden peetha in a temple-style hall with red drapes. A seated man in an orange-brown robe and orange turban wears a rudraksha mala and a white flower garland and gestures with raised hands. A large painted backdrop shows a multi-armed deity holding a trident-like staff and a lamp. Golden trident stands flank the throne, with flowers and an oil lamp nearby. In the foreground, a blurred figure in white raises a flame or lamp. Swamiji (probable): the seated man wears an orange turban, rudraksha mala and saffron-toned robe on a throne, consistent with the page's Swamiji attribution.2016-10-05August 09 20172017-08-09 +1 copies
