Layered silver and pearl necklaces, a jewelled belt and gold armlets adorn the figure, which holds one gold hand near the chest. The setting is a decorated shrine with a gold arched canopy above. The figure is a statue, not a living person, and a blurred green leaf fills the lower foreground.2015-06-03January 14 20132013-01-14October 05 20142014-10-05 +1 copiesJune 03 20152015-06-03December 01 20172017-12-01A gilded arched shrine frames a standing statue wearing a brown-red turban with a jewelled crown ornament, a brown-red cloth, a heavy jewelled chest ornament and pearl-and-gem waist chains, and a raised right hand in blessing. Garlands of yellow, red, white and purple flowers with green leaves drape the statue on both sides, and its feet rest on a brass base over a striped tiger-skin mat. Gold brocade covers the platform and red drapery backs the shrine. The statue is a depiction, not a person.2017-11-25 +1 copies
