Several priests in white dhotis with gold borders sit in front on orange and green cloths, hands folded or performing rites, with white tripundra marks on their foreheads and bodies. Brass lamps, small plates of offerings, flowers and oil lamps lie before them. Behind them a large seated audience in white and mixed clothing watches, with some people in the background holding hands together in prayer. A man on the right wears a rudraksha mala and gold-bordered white cloth; another man in the centre wears glasses and a white shirt with a beaded necklace. No candidate for a person is clearly identifiable by appearance, so the figures are described by role only.2012-05-21 +1 copiesSeptember 17 20112011-09-17October 30 20112011-10-30May 13 20122012-05-13 +1 copiesA group of shaved-headed men in white dhotis and shawls sit cross-legged on a glossy floor during a ritual. Several hold small oil lamps with flames, while others hold brass bells and kalasha-style brass vessels on a low orange cloth. Some wear rudraksha malas and white sandalwood or vibhuti markings on their foreheads and arms. A young child in an orange shirt sits at the left edge, and an open book and brass plates with offerings lie in front. The setting appears to be a puja or pada puja with lamps and bells.2010-10-12
