Wide photograph of a large indoor convention hall with a stage at the far end under a decorated ceiling of pale draped fabric and hanging lights. Hundreds of seated delegates fill plastic chairs in rows, mostly men in white shirts and dhotis or trousers, viewed from behind. A large banner above the stage carries Tamil-script text and a portrait. On the stage a figure in orange-red robes sits at the front, with a microphone and flower arrangements nearby, though he is too small and distant to confirm appearance. Pillars are decorated with coloured streamers and a red carpet runs down the central aisle.2008-02-09February 09 20082008-02-09 +1 copiesFebruary 09 20082008-02-09 +1 copiesWide view from the back of a large indoor hall filled with rows of seated audience on white and yellow plastic chairs, many with heads visible from behind, mostly in white and light clothing. On a raised stage at the far end, a figure in orange/saffron robes sits on a white-draped seat before a blue draped backdrop with gold trim and floral decorations, with a screen above showing an image. Red and blue stage lighting and speakers frame the stage. The scene suggests a seated satsang or convention gathering. The seated figure on stage is too small and distant to determine identity, so a person is unsure.2009-02-01A large indoor hall filled with a dense crowd of seated delegates, mostly men in white shirts and dhotis, plus checked shirts, seated on tan plastic chairs on a red carpet. Overhead hang white pillars, string lights and decorative ceiling fabric. At the top of the image a banner reads in Tamil and English. Most attendees wear white or light shirts and trousers, with backs to the camera. On the stage, a large backdrop portrait labelled "Paramahamsa Nithyananda" shows a smiling figure in a yellow-and-orange turban with a braided plait, raising one hand. A Tamil banner reads "Nithyananda Spurana Dhyanapeetham" beside a colourful circular emblem, a yellow cloth hangs on a stand, and a speaker sits at a lectern in front of the stage. Speakers and draped curtains frame the scene.2006-12-14Wide view from the back of a large tented hall at night, with a white fabric canopy and warm lights overhead. Several hundred seated attendees in white clothing and colourful saris face a red-carpeted aisle toward a decorated stage at the far end. The stage is hung with a bright backdrop and holds a row of figures in orange and white, with a standing figure in white near the centre. Rows of red and white plastic chairs fill the hall, and blue banners and speaker stacks line the sides.2008-12-30Wide view of a large outdoor satsang under a white tent with red scalloped edging and overhead fans. Hundreds of seated attendees fill white plastic chairs across a green mat, most men in white shirts and dhotis, with women in colourful saris on the right. At the front, a raised red-draped stage shows a painted backdrop of a tree and a golden throne-like seat with a central figure seated. A large screen on the stage displays a closer view of a seated speaker in orange. Cameras and a crane arm are visible at the right edge.2015-05-31December 14 20062006-12-14December 17 20062006-12-17
