Close photo of a ritual foot-washing at a wedding-style ceremony. A person in a red-and-gold silk dhoti with bare feet stands on a brass tray while another person's hands, adorned with gold bangles and henna-decorated fingers, pour or wash the feet. A bare-skinned shoulder and arm of a second person appear at left, and a white jasmine garland rests nearby. On the floor are a silver plate holding white rice grains and a yellow flower, a small silver bowl of red kumkum, and a brass vessel.
