Close-up photograph of a padapuja ritual. Bare feet in orange-and-gold garment hems rest on a bed of red and pink flowers and petals. Around them is an arrangement of ornate silver bowls and silver-rimmed trays holding turmeric-yellow liquid, rice, kumkum and petals, with a small oil lamp burning nearby. Hands in white sleeves hold ladles and offerings at the edge of the frame. Golden ritual vessels surround the scene. No face is visible, and the visible feet and clothing do not establish a specific person's identity.2013-03-07 +1 copiesJanuary 15 20132013-01-15Close photograph of a padapuja-style foot ritual.
