A white stepped stone base or plinth is decorated with garlands of yellow and purple flowers laid in bands around its tiers and at its foot. On the ground in front, a flower-and-leaf rangoli pattern with white, yellow and red petals surrounds a blue dome-shaped object topped with a yellow garland. A white dove perches on the blue form. No people are visible.2009-12-28December 28 20092009-12-28A photograph of a floral rangoli-style arrangement on bare ground. At its centre sits a large blue-and-green dome-shaped object. A strand of yellow marigold garlands runs along the top edge. No people are visible.2009-12-29A photograph of a floor rangoli on a plain concrete ground. A circular kolam design of white powder outlines petals, teardrop motifs and a central six-pointed star, filled with marigold petals in yellow and orange, pink rose petals forming a ring, green leaves, white flower petals, and a pink lotus-like bloom at the centre. No people are visible; the scene is a decorative floral floor art display.2007-10-13Close-up of a stone-grey floor decorated with a yellow and magenta kolam-style floral design made of coloured powder, with white jasmine-like flowers and a pink rose placed at the centre. A large central oval of dark green petals is ringed by a bright yellow band, with a white stylised flame or leaf-like motif outlined in pink at the centre. Around the outside, white petal shapes form a lotus-like border, interspersed with red petal strips and edged with thin gold trim. At the top left, a row of brass vessels or lamps sits on a wooden ledge. No people are visible.2008-01-01December 25 20092009-12-25A photograph of a white temple courtyard with pigeons in the foreground: a white pigeon in the centre, a grey pigeon at left and a grey-green iridescent pigeon at lower right. Behind them, a seated person in saffron-orange robes sits cross-legged before a black stone Nandi or Shiva-linga style sculpture draped with a red, yellow and green garland on a white stepped plinth. Several men in white clothing with yellow shawls sit in meditation or prayer on the ground to the right and rear, with green trees behind. The saffron-clad figure's appearance is not clear enough to confirm an identity, so this is described by role only.2010-07-08
