September 15 20162016-09-15A young leafy tree stands staked upright with several tall bamboo or wooden poles tied to its trunk and branches, set in a bare dirt yard. Behind it are grey concrete block walls, a small heap of red bricks and rubble at right, a pile of sand and gravel at left, and a palm tree beyond the wall under a pale overcast sky. A small bald head of a statue or bust is partly visible at the lower left near the base of the tree. No people are visible.2016-09-15December 19 20062006-12-19December 20 20062006-12-20A photograph of a stone temple structure under construction at a rural site, wrapped in a bamboo and wooden scaffold with cross-braces and planks. The grey granite shrine has a flat-topped roof slab and carved panels visible on its walls. Behind it stand large leafy trees under a pale sky, with a low stone boundary wall to the left and scattered granite blocks and sandbags in the foreground. On the right edge a figure in orange saffron robes walks near the scaffold. Piles of cut stone and construction debris surround the site.2006-12-19December 19 20062006-12-19December 31 20082008-12-31August 16 20092009-08-16November 16 20062006-11-16A photograph of an excavation trench at the base of a large banyan tree with aerial roots hanging from its branches. Freshly dug red-brown earth lies between low stone-block walls, with dressed grey stone slabs stacked along the trench edges and a pile of cut stones in a sunken corner. A small dark cavity sits at the foot of the trunk. A single woman in white clothing sits on a raised platform at the upper right, beside a metal railing and a flower-garlanded shrine area.2014-10-11A temple construction site on bare red-brown earth under a clear blue sky. Workers in orange robes dig trenches on the left, one bending with a shovel among piles of excavated soil. A figure in a flowing orange robe stands centrally on the dirt track, with another orange-clad worker beyond. Several people in white clothing work along the left side. Concrete column footings with rebar stand in rows on the right, with grey block walls behind, a blue tarpaulin tent, palm trees and a large dense green tree along the back.2006-12-09December 19 20062006-12-19
