The copper shaft is ringed with bands and topped by a multi-tiered crown-like finial with a saffron-orange flag attached. Yellow and orange marigold garlands drape the base, which holds a small carved deity murti in a niche. Orange cords run from the top of the pole down to the ground. Coconut palms and a thatched hut stand behind, under an overcast sky. At the lower left, a signboard shows a site map of an ashram. No people are visible in the scene.2009-09-29October 03 20162016-10-03Low-angle photograph looking up at a tall copper-clad flagstaff or dhwaja stambha rising against a pale blue sky with scattered clouds.
