Close-up of a puja offering: hands pour water from a silver vessel over a tray of red and yellow flowers, green leaves and white petals. Silver bowls holding red petals and offerings surround the tray, and a red flower garland lies at left. Several people are visible only through hands and arms: one wears a white embroidered garment, rudraksha beads and gold bangles, another wears a red thread on the wrist, and a fourth has dark hair at the lower right. No face is shown and no identity is established.2013-09-09November 28 20112011-11-28April 13 20132013-04-13Close-up of bare feet resting on a bed of red and yellow flower petals, with a silver bowl pouring white milk over the feet onto the floral arrangement. Silver trays, a silver plate with a lotus design, and a conch shell with milk sit among the petals, and a green leaf stem lies across them. The pouring suggests a foot-washing ritual, consistent with padapuja. The person's face is not visible, so no one in the scene is identified, and the number of people is one pair of feet.2013-10-19October 19 20132013-10-19Close-up photograph of a ritual offering in progress. Several hands pour liquid from a silver vessel into a silver bowl over a tray of silver puja bowls filled with red and yellow flowers, rose petals and green leaves. A thin stream of clear liquid falls from one cup into a bowl below, possibly for abhishekam. One wrist wears a rudraksha mala and gold bangles; another hand shows a tattoo and bangles. The silver vessels are engraved with floral patterns. Only hands and arms are visible, so no faces appear.2013-04-04March 08 20132013-03-08Close-up photograph of a ritual abhishekam in progress: a silver bowl with embossed floral patterns pours milk in a white stream over a heap of white and pink flowers, green leaves, and a small gold-toned container. Bare feet of a priest or devotee rest on the left, and hands holding silver vessels appear at the top right. Pink rose petals and marigold-like orange blooms scatter across the offering.2013-05-05June 29 20132013-06-29November 01 20112011-11-01A close-up photo of a hand pouring milk from a silver-toned vessel with embossed floral patterns over a bed of flower petals, including pink and white frangipani-like blossoms and red flowers, with a small brass oil lamp at lower left. Silver bowls sit in the background. The hand bears a tattoo of ornate script. This appears to be an abhishekam-style offering.2013-06-02October 15 20112011-10-15
