Outdoor street scene in an Indian city. A man in an orange saffron robe with bare arms stands on an orange-and-yellow striped cloth, extending his hands toward a tray held by a bare-chested priest in white dhoti with a yellow border and a vertical tilak on his forehead. The tray holds a small brass vessel with flowers and green leaves. Behind them, onlookers stand with hands pressed in anjali, including a woman in a red sari and another in blue. Parked scooters, a shop sign and a tree line the street. On the right, a man in white clothes with folded hands and a rudraksha mala holds a tray of fruit and flowers. The gesture suggests a welcome or puja offering in the street.2009-09-15September 28-29 2006 - Kodikkan Ratha YatraA street procession in a town with shopfronts, parked cars and banana plants.
