A photograph of a devotee's hand resting on a white-wrapped bundle placed on a brass tray decorated with marigold and flower petals, in front of a seated figure wrapped in orange cloth with gold border. A man in white dhoti with orange-gold border and a rudraksha mala stands with palms joined beside a red-cushioned gold throne. The bundle is part of a set of white coconut bundles on the floor, consistent with a padapuja offering of coconuts at the feet of a seated guru on a throne. The seated figure's face is not visible in the frame.2016-01-02October 25 20062006-10-25Close photograph of a festival setting on a wooden floor scattered with flower petals. Several devotees in saffron-maroon and gold-bordered dhotis or shawls and rudraksha wrist malas reach in with their hands to offer flowers and fruit. A gold-patterned throne or seat is visible at left and an ornate carpet beneath.
