KAILASA FAMILIA PORTUGUESA, PORTUGAL on 3/17/20212021-03-17Photo 82914092021-03-17Photo 82843232021-03-17 +2 copiesOctober 30 20192019-10-30Graphic-style archive card with an orange background and a framed photograph of two men at an indoor gathering. On the left, an older bearded man in white robes sits with palms pressed together in namaskar, beside a silver-toned murti or statue with a white and orange garland. On the right, a smiling young man wears an orange turban, orange robe and a rudraksha mala, holding pink flower garlands in folded hands. Behind them, other men in white dhotis and shirts stand and sit. A caption on the card reads that the Swamiji is in the presence of his guru, Thiruchi Swamigal, age 24, 2002. The young man in orange is a probable Swamiji candidate from distinctive orange turban, saffron robe and rudraksha mala, though this is an appearance-based label only.2021-03-17 +2 copiesA framed caption graphic with an orange-brown background shows a photograph of three men and a child in a ritual setting. On the left, a shaved-headed man in orange-red robes leans in and touches his mouth. In the centre, a man in saffron-orange robes stands with hands clasped and a small red mark on his forehead. On the right, an older bearded man with long swept-back dark hair sits on an ornate silver-and-red throne decorated with an Om symbol, wearing white cloth. Garlands of white and orange flowers hang behind them, and a white animal figure appears at the lower centre. The printed caption reads that it shows the SPH in the presence of his guru, Thiruchi Swamigal, age 22, in 2000.2021-03-17 +2 copiesA blended graphic with a faded older colour photograph on the left and a hazy sunlit landscape of palm trees and mountains on the right. The photograph shows a group of about a dozen people seated on a floor, mostly in white and red clothing, some with a head covering. A woman in white holds a small child. A young boy in a circle highlight is seated near the top centre. Behind them is a red and gold decorated backdrop with a deity-like figure. The text 'YEAR 1993' appears at upper right, over the landscape.2020-09-05Yogi RamsuratkumarA photograph of a seated figure in a saffron-orange robe and saffron turban with a long rudraksha mala draped over the chest, holding a steel tumbler, seated on a carved wooden throne with red cushions and a red-bordered cloth, with brass ornamental pillars on either side. Around the seated figure stand about seven people: a man in white at the left edge with a red mark on his hand, women in white and red saris and a yellow sari, men in white shirts and glasses, and two children. Framed Hindu devotional paintings hang on the white wall, and a white electric fan is at the right. The room is a domestic-style interior with a doorway behind the group.2004-05-28A photograph taken indoors in a plain whitewashed room with a hanging umbrella and chain swings. In the centre, a smiling young man in a saffron-orange turban and saffron-orange robe wears a thick garland of white, yellow, pink and red flowers around his neck and sits on a white-covered table. Beside him, an older bespectacled man in a white shirt and white dhoti, with a white beard, stands looking at him, and a younger man in white clothes stands behind. On the right, a woman in a green sari and other seated women in orange and blue saris watch. The orange robe and turban are the only visible cues for the central figure, and there is no clear basis to attribute him to a person, so the identity remains uncertain.December 14 20202020-12-14June 2 19931993-06-02
