A photograph of a pada puja at a temple at night. A shaved-headed priest in white dhoti and an orange-bordered shawl kneels on an orange mat, holding a brass plate and tending to four young girls seated before him. The girls wear bright silk dresses in pink, green, orange, yellow and red with gold trim and jewellery, and hold pink flowers with hands raised in devotion. Scattered red flower petals lie on the mat, and behind them stands a deity murti draped in red and orange cloth and garlanded with yellow and white flowers beside a golden shrine. Striped red and white steps rise on the right.2011-12-31Three young girls sit cross-legged on an orange cloth at the base of a decorated dais during a pada puja.
