He wears a saffron-orange turban with a jewelled ornament, an orange draped shawl over a saffron-orange garment, layered coral-pink beaded malas with silver-toned medallions, and gold armbands and bangles. One leg is folded across the throne seat and he is barefoot. Floral offerings lie at the bottom edge and a pink blossom backdrop fills the background. Swamiji (probable): the saffron and orange robes, turban, layered beaded malas and ceremonial ornaments match the appearance cues for the presiding teacher, so the figure is labelled as a probable in-person Swamiji seated on a throne giving blessing.2011-09-20A seated man in an orange-saffron turban with a gold border and an orange shawl draped over his shoulder sits cross-legged on an ornate gold throne with intricate repoussé carving.
