Many participants wear white ritual clothing, and some wear orange or saffron shawls and pink, green or teal garments. A central figure on the right, seated on an ornate red-and-gold throne with a microphone stand before him, wears saffron-orange robes, and appearance cues are not distinctive enough to confirm his identity, so he is treated as a presenter giving a discourse. Devotees sit in a circle around a white circular banyan platform, and a small red cushioned stool sits near the throne.2010-02-10 +2 copiesNovember 20 20092009-11-20November 19 20092009-11-19November 30 20112011-11-30November 30 20112011-11-30A large outdoor satsang gathers under a massive banyan tree with spreading aerial roots. Dozens of devotees in white clothes sit on mats and the ground in rows, many in white and some in red or dark tops. In the centre, a robed teacher sits on a red-cushioned seat in front of a microphone, wearing orange clothing. At the right stands a large orange-robed statue of a sage on a red pedestal, and a black-and-white patterned cloth lies nearby. Round stone platforms surround the tree and the scene is lit by warm evening light.2010-02-09 +1 copiesNovember 19 20092009-11-19November 20 20092009-11-20December 09 20132013-12-09
