A night-time outdoor gathering seated beneath a large banyan tree with thick aerial roots and branches overhead, lit by a single warm light on the left. Dozens of devotees sit cross-legged on red and orange cloth mats in rows, many in white kurtas and dhotis, others in green, maroon and dark clothing. Several men in front wear white robes with lanyards and hold their hands together in meditation or prayer. Individuals with orange turbans and saffron cloth appear among the rear rows.
