November 11 20132013-11-11November 15 20132013-11-15Outdoor photo of a ritual at a colourful pink, teal and blue pedestal topped with a copper kalasha wrapped in yellow marigold garlands and white jasmine strands. Two men stand beside it: a shaved-headed priest in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl with a rudraksha mala and bangles, and a bare-chested man in white dhoti with a red-and-white cloth over his shoulder and a gold chain, touching the base. A saffron flag on a bamboo pole stands at left, and a hazy hilly landscape with houses and palm trees stretches behind. A printed banner with pictures sits at the lower left edge.2013-11-11A woman in a maroon-red sari with a matching red turban and a garland of multicolored flowers smiles while raising her hand in greeting beside a silver kalasha topped with a yellow cloth and flower garlands. Around her, shaven-headed priests in orange and saffron robes with rudraksha malas stand near her; one priest in orange holds the silver pot. Other people in white ritual clothes, orange saris and red-and-gold robes stand behind, with ceremonial umbrellas and poles at the upper left. The setting is outdoors under trees.2013-12-27November 15 20132013-11-15June 29 20142014-06-29 +1 copiesNovember 11 20132013-11-11Outdoor ritual photo at an ashram under palm trees. A bare-shouldered man with long swept-back dark hair, a beaded rudraksha mala, and a saffron-orange shawl stands at right holding a silver vessel over a copper-clad pillar or kalasha-topped structure decorated with a red cloth wrap and garlands of yellow, red and white flowers. A younger man in orange robes beside him holds a silver dish, and another orange-robed attendant stands behind, with a further person partly visible at the bottom right.2008-03-23A photograph of an outdoor temple consecration on a green-covered platform under palm trees. A man in a red turban and saffron-red dhoti with a white flower garland pours liquid from a small vessel onto a tall brass kalasha placed on a colourful geometric yantra-style base. Around him, four other men in saffron-red dhotis and orange turbans or shaved heads hold flower garlands, a brass plate of flowers, and clap their hands. A yellow water tank and tent stand behind them. Several participants wear rudraksha malas. Five physical people are visible, with one more partly visible at the right edge, and the scene suggests abhishekam at a consecration ritual.2014-06-29 +1 copiesFebruary 27 20142014-02-27June 29 20142014-06-29February 27 20142014-02-27
