A man in a rust-red shawl over a red-brown robe stands beside a smoking fire, holding a brass plate of red offerings and white material above the flames. He has a shaved head, a bindi, and a gold chain. Beside the fire, a deity murti or ceremonial figure is decorated with yellow and orange marigold garlands and silver ornamentation, and a red-and-white striped platform sits in the background. The scene suggests a homa or yagna fire offering. The man's appearance is not sufficiently distinctive to confirm the identity of a person, so he is described only by role as a priest performing the offering.2013-10-08October 08 20132013-10-08A woman in a rust-orange sannyasi-style wrap and matching skirt with gold borders stands beside a fire pit, holding a round brass plate.
