April 24 20132013-04-24A man with a shaved head, wearing a reddish-orange cloth draped over his torso and bare-chested, leans over a richly gilded wooden ratha or chariot. He is adjusting or steadying the structure with one hand while gripping a wooden pole. Behind him stands a deity murti dressed in teal garments and layered gold necklaces, framed by garlands of pink, yellow, red and purple flowers. Orange and yellow tassels hang from the chariot's upper frame, and a gold-toned decorated canopy structure surrounds the scene in what appears to be a nighttime procession setting.2013-04-24A photograph of a temple-style worship scene at night. In the foreground left, a man with long swept-back dark hair and a bare back, wearing an orange cloth wrap and an orange-red sash, faces the shrine and raises his arm in reverence. Before him stands a richly decorated deity murti dressed in a silver-sequined skirt, crowned with a tall gold headdress, holding a trident and staff, and enveloped in thick garlands of red and yellow flowers with green leaves. Flanking it on the right is a second decorated murti in gold and blue ornaments and a tall crown, also garlanded in red and yellow flowers. The shrine has an ornate gold arch, red drapery, and an orange flag hanging above.2016-11-06A long-haired man with bare upper body and an orange-and-gold draped cloth stands at right, facing a deity murti in a richly garlanded shrine. The murti is dressed in blue with a red-and-gold crown or turban, and it is almost fully covered in garlands of yellow, red, white, green and purple flowers. Behind the murti is an ornate gold throne-like backdrop. A rudraksha-style necklace of beads hangs on the standing man's shoulders. A white wall-mounted air conditioner and a window with a standing fan appear behind him, and another person's blurred figure is visible at the window.2013-07-02A night procession photograph of a deity murti decorated with dense garlands of yellow, white and red flowers, mounted on an ornate chariot or palanquin. Brass bells hang above the figure, and a tall umbrella with red, orange and multicoloured tassels shades the scene. On the left, a shaved-headed man in orange-saffron robes and a rudraksha mala walks beside the palanquin with his hand near an offering tray; he appears to be a priest or devotee. The deity is lit brightly against a dark background.2011-10-04November 25 20142014-11-25April 24 20132013-04-24June 03 20152015-06-03A photograph of a decorated deity murti set within a golden arch framed by flower garlands in yellow, orange, purple, red and white. The murti wears a pink and maroon garment, a silver crown-like headdress, a necklace of pearls and ornaments, and holds a flower. In front stand brass oil lamps and a brass vessel. At left, a person in orange robes with a white head wrap and shawl stands with one hand extended toward the murti, apparently performing worship. No other physical people are clearly visible. The page excerpt names a person event, but no appearance-based candidate qualifies.2009-12-25A photograph of a temple shrine where a figure with long, swept-back dark hair in a saffron-orange dhoti and matching shawl is decorating a seated deity murti with garlands. The murti is draped in red, white and yellow flower garlands and wears ornate silver jewellery. Brass oil lamps burn at the base of the shrine, and a gold-framed arch and garlanded figures stand beside it. The figure has distinctive long hair, saffron clothing and a rudraksha-style necklace, consistent with the Swamiji appearance cues, so this is a probable appearance-based label rather than a confirmed identity. The visible activity suggests padapuja-style worship at a shrine.2011-11-29December 14 20162016-12-14Photograph of a temple deity murti of a goddess, a gold-faced metal image wearing a tall gold crown and ornate gold jewellery, seated before a large circular arrangement of marigold garlands in red, orange, yellow and white, with a purple silk cloth and gold ornaments below. A bare-backed priest in a yellow dhoti and green silk-bordered cloth stands at right with his back to the camera, tending the deity during a puja. A small gold deity image is partly visible at right.2012-04-05
