On the right, a black stone statue of a seated deity, draped in orange cloth and garlanded with white flowers, sits on a low stone platform with a small oil lamp and offerings in front. On the left, a group of about twenty devotees stands in a loose line, many in white ritual clothes and others in blue, green and dark dresses; several carry bags and one holds a folded white cloth. Earth and a small stone wall are in the foreground. Several people appear to be standing near the tree, and a figure in white with shaved head stands at the left edge of the group, but none is an appearance-based candidate for a person.2011-08-19 +1 copies2011 - Photo AlbumA photograph of an outdoor shrine beneath a large, sprawling banyan tree with many hanging aerial roots and dense green canopy.
