A central figure in a reddish-brown silk dhoti and matching upper cloth, wearing a maroon and gold turban with a white plume, a heavy gold necklace and a red-and-white flower garland, smiles while holding a silver bell and a lit oil lamp on a small stand. Behind him, a line of saffron-robed and maroon-robed men with shaved heads and white forehead markings stand barefoot on dark stone tiles, some holding ceremonial staffs and a brass horn. Scattered red petals lie on the floor. To the left, a gold deity murti under an ornate arch decorated with garlands and red flowers. Trees and darkness surround the scene.2013-12-27
