A woman in an orange shawl stands at the right edge and another woman is partly visible at lower left. A seated man in saffron-orange cloth wrapped over his shoulders, with a rudraksha headband, a small gold earring and a swept-back bun, smiles toward a younger devotee kneeling at left in a white shirt with a yellow-edged cloth and a rudraksha mala, whose palms are pressed together in anjali. The seated man rests his hand on a silver railing and sits beside a golden lion-form throne armrest. Two physical people are visible. A man in white ritual dress with a gold-bordered cloth and a rudraksha mala around his neck sits in front, raising his palm toward him. A gilded lion-headed armrest is visible at right.
