A seated figure in a saffron-orange robe wears a white Santa-style hat with red trim and a gold-bead necklace, smiling as he takes a small white card held out by a man in a dark striped vest over a white shirt bending toward him. The seated figure sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne beneath a red canopy with tassels, with a fruit painting and green foliage behind. A woman in an orange shawl stands at the right edge and another woman is partly visible at lower left. The figure's appearance includes a shaved or cropped head, red forehead mark, and several gold beaded necklaces, but identity is not established from appearance, so the person is described by role as a seated figure receiving a card.
