A brass abhishekam scene on a tray of milky liquid with scattered red petals. Three bronze deity murtis stand centrally: a four-armed male form with a crown holding up a hand in abhaya mudra, a small bronze figure on the left, and a female figure in a yellow-draped sari on the right. A bronze Ganesha bust with a pearl and bead garland sits at the far right. Behind them are a pink and red flower garland, a pile of rudraksha beads, a brass kalasha-style vessel and small bowls. A hand pours liquid from a vessel at the upper left. No people are visible in the frame apart from partial hands.

Close photo of three bronze-toned murti figures standing on a brass tray at an altar. The central figure is a multi-armed deity wearing a tall crown and necklaces, holding objects in its hands. To the left stands a smaller bare-chested boy-form figure, and to the right a female figure in a white draped cloth. A small ornate lion-like or makara-style base sits at the centre front. Red flower petals are scattered on the tray, and a bed of rudraksha beads lies behind the figures on a patterned cloth. A hand reaches in from the upper left. No physical people are the subjects; the figures are statues.

A photograph of three small statues on a stone platform being bathed in a ritual abhishekam. A hand at the top left pours a white liquid from a metal vessel over the central figure, a four-armed deity murti with a tall crown, white-painted body and gold ornaments, standing on a square pedestal. To its left is a smaller bronze-toned male figure with a shaved head and bare chest, and to its right a female figure in an orange draped garment with a crown. White milk-like liquid pools around the bases. Behind them a purple brocade cloth with gold motifs covers an altar, with garlanded deity images, brass vessels and a gold-trimmed pedestal in the background.

Photo of an abhishekam being performed on a white marble deity murti of a four-armed standing form, with milk or liquid being poured over its head and body from above by a hand wearing bangles. Two gilt metal figures stand flanking it on pedestals, one on the left with a bare torso and red-marked hands and feet. Behind are red and gold brocade cloths, a blue brocade-draped altar, a gilded crown and brass lamp stand. A green bucket and brass bowl sit on the marble floor. No people are visible apart from the pouring hand and wrist. Timestamp reads 16 March 2025 8:29 am.

A photograph of a ritual abhishekam arrangement on a brass tray. A black stone Shivalinga stands in the foreground on a yoni base, with a white milk-streaked image of a four-armed deity murti in the centre, flanked by two gold-coloured metal figures: a smaller standing male figure on the left and a female figure draped in a yellow cloth on the right. Milk or liquid runs down the white figure, and marigold and red flower petals are scattered in the tray water. Behind them, a deity with garlands of yellow and red flowers and a maroon cloth is visible. Readable text on the page is limited to the excerpt, which does not appear in the image itself.

A photograph of a home shrine during an arati ritual. Three brass or bronze murtis stand on a tray: a small standing figure on the left, a four-armed deity murti in the centre with raised hands and a crown, and a white-draped standing figure on the right, each showing white ash or abhishekam residue. Red flower petals lie at their bases and rudraksha beads are spread on a purple cloth behind them. A hand holds a burning oil lamp at lower left, and a golden Om symbol and a large pink garland appear in the background. No people are visible beyond the hand.

Abhishekam offering on a white marble tray before three bronze-toned statues. In the centre stands a four-armed Shiva murti with a tall crown and raised hands; to the left stands a smaller male figure with a bare torso and folded palms, and to the right a female figure in a flowing yellow garment holding a white flower. In front lies a black Shiva linga wet from abhishekam, decorated with yellow and pink marigold-type flowers. Behind them are garlands of yellow and magenta flowers, a brass oil lamp with a lit flame, brass vessels, and a printed backdrop showing a person's hand and garland. No living people are visible.

A photograph of gilded brass deity murti in a temple setting against a dark maroon drape. On the right, a tall standing murti with a crown, holding a trident in one hand and a kalasha-like ritual item, bathed by liquid poured from above; a red tilak mark is visible on its crown. On the left, a four-armed murti with a trident and an ornate prabhavali halo, with a smaller seated figure on a lotus-like base. At left edge, hanging tassels in green, pink, blue and orange with gold bands, and a yellow cloth drapes at top right. The scene suggests abhishekam being performed on the murti. No people are visible.

Photograph of a shrine with metal murti statues being bathed. A central golden-yellow standing deity murti with four arms, a pointed crown and jewelled garments stands on a lotus-style base. Beside it, a smaller silver-toned figure stands on a pedestal wearing silver anklets. A hand from the top edge pours liquid over the central figure, which shows a thin orange stream. Behind them are a blue brocade cloth, a red and gold patterned backdrop, yellow flower garlands, a brass bowl and a green container. A partly visible figure in a blue sari appears at the right edge. Abhishekam is being performed on the deity murtis, with no people in the foreground beyond the hand.
