Three brass or bronze murtis stand on a tray: a small standing figure on the left, a four-armed deity murti in the centre with raised hands and a crown, and a white-draped standing figure on the right, each showing white ash or abhishekam residue. Red flower petals lie at their bases and rudraksha beads are spread on a purple cloth behind them. A hand holds a burning oil lamp at lower left, and a golden Om symbol and a large pink garland appear in the background. The central figure is a multi-armed deity with a tall conical crown, a red tilak on the forehead, and holding objects in raised hands. To the left stands a smaller bare-chested figure with a red mark on the forehead, and to the right a female figure in a red and gold sari with a crown and a yellow tilak. Red, pink, white and yellow flowers float around their bases, and a hand holding a yellow marigold and a small metal dish enters from the lower right. Behind them is an intricately carved wooden lattice screen. This is an abhishekam offering arrangement with no physical people in the scene apart from a partly visible hand.2020-11-09A brass abhishekam scene on a tray of milky liquid with scattered red petals. Three bronze deity murtis stand centrally: a four-armed male form with a crown holding up a hand in abhaya mudra, a small bronze figure on the left, and a female figure in a yellow-draped sari on the right. A bronze Ganesha bust with a pearl and bead garland sits at the far right. Behind them are a pink and red flower garland, a pile of rudraksha beads, a brass kalasha-style vessel and small bowls. A hand pours liquid from a vessel at the upper left. No people are visible in the frame apart from partial hands.2020-12-07Abhishekam being performed at a home temple altar. A dark stone Shivalinga at the front is being bathed with a stream of yellow liquid poured from a copper vessel at upper left, running down the base. Behind it stand three polished bronze deity murtis: a standing four-armed figure in the centre holding a trident-like object, a smaller figure at left, and a figure at right draped in a green-gold cloth. Yellow marigold garlands hang on the altar. Behind is a framed portrait of a robed figure with a rudraksha mala and a flower garland, its face not clearly visible. Oil lamps, brass pots and red-and-gold decorations surround the altar on an orange cloth.2021-04-26Photograph of a devotional altar during an abhishekam setting. Three bronze-coloured murti statues stand on a brass tray strewn with pink petals and marigolds: a small standing figure on the left, a central deity figure with a tall crown and raised hands, and a figure on the right in a golden-yellow garment. A brass bell hangs above, and oil lamps, brass bowls and an OM symbol stand nearby. Behind the altar, a large printed portrait of a person in a pink-brown robe and gold necklaces is partly visible, along with women in red and pink saris who are seated and adorned with garlands and gold jewellery. The printed portrait and the seated women are not counted as physical people in the scene's count; only the listed people are physically present.2021-01-18Three bronze or copper-toned murtis stand on a metal tray in a yellow-walled room. Blue flower petals lie at the base of each figure. The figure on the left is a bare-chested male statue with a small loincloth, and the figure on the right wears a green garment and a crown.
