A photograph of a crowded indoor hall with white ceiling fans, painted decorated pillars and a stage with dark curtains at right. Women in saris line up and serve food from a steel counter; several servers wear white head caps and aprons, while others hold steel plates and banana-leaf style plates of rice and food. Many women wear cotton and silk saris in pink, yellow, blue, green and orange, some with gold necklaces. The scene reads as a communal meal service in a large hall, with a large steel pot and food being dished out to a queue of attendees.
