The figure wears a red garland of beads with gold-green floral accents, multiple strands of rudraksha mala beads, gold bangles and armlets, and a gold pendant. Clothing is a rust-red and gold-striped garment with a red dhoti-style wrap. A small red mark is on the forehead. Appearance-based label: a person, shown during the flag-raising rope ritual.2015-04-21A photograph of a saffron-robed sannyasi standing outdoors beside a carved stone temple pillar draped with white and red flower garlands. He holds a rope in his raised right hand and looks down with eyes closed, wearing a tall bun of dark hair, a red tilak on his forehead, long rudraksha malas and red-and-white flower garlands around his neck. Palm trees and greenery fill the background, and a bundle of leaves sits atop the pillar. The scene reflects the flag-hoisting rite at the start of a Brahmotsavam, though the flag itself is not visible. The man's identity cannot be confirmed from appearance, and no printed caption names him here.2016-01-11March 10 20132013-03-10January 11 20162016-01-11April 21 20152015-04-21A photo taken from below of a man in a rust-red sleeveless robe, bare-armed, wearing a long rudraksha mala with large gold-toned beads and white and yellow flower garlands across his chest.
