A man in a white kurta kneels before him, reaching out a hand in respect. Behind them, a man with orange-marked forehead and a saffron shawl stands, and a man in a white kurta holds a mala. A man in a white cotton kurta and glasses holds long strands of white and orange flower garlands raised above the seated figure's head. The seated figure is almost entirely covered by large layered garlands of yellow marigolds, red flowers and green leaves, and wears rudraksha-style beaded necklaces. To the left, a bald man with white tilak marks on his forehead, smiling, wears an orange cloth and a dark bead mala. Brass kalasha vessels and a brass lamp stand on a table nearby. The scene appears to be a garlanding ceremony in a ritual setting.2015-07-31June 06 20162016-06-06April 23 20152015-04-23A seated figure with long dark hair wears a red-orange shawl and rudraksha-style ornate gold necklaces on a throne with a dark red cushion, receiving a garland from a man in a white shirt and white dhoti who holds a white and red jasmine garland above the seated figure's head. The seated figure wears a gold bangle and sits on a red velvet-covered seat before a gilded carved backdrop with lion figures and a painted deity panel. A woman in a white sari stands behind, with another figure in orange and cream at the right edge. The scene appears to be a garlanding ceremony in a temple-style hall. Candidate for a person: the seated figure wears a red turban, rich robes, garlands and a gold bangle, but the face is not clearly visible, so the identity is uncertain.2015-08-09August 09 20152015-08-09April 25 20172017-04-25A photograph of a smiling person in a brown-orange robe and tall orange-red turban, with a red bindi, wearing a pink flower garland and gold-bead necklaces, placing an orange shawl over the shoulders of a man in a white shirt who bows his head.
