An elevated view of an ashram-style compound on an overcast, rainy day. In the foreground stands a multi-storey building with orange-red walls, rows of windows and white doors, its flat rooftop bordered by a railing. Beyond it, a second orange building and an orange boundary wall enclose a muddy construction yard with piles of gravel and debris. Green open land, scattered trees and distant hills fill the background under a grey sky. No people are visible.2014-09-25September 16 20162016-09-16A wide dusty red-earth construction site under a heavy grey overcast sky. A yellow JCB backhoe loader sits at left beside a mound of red soil, with a rusted metal frame and a long pale metal pipe lying on the ground in the foreground. Several white SUVs are parked on a dirt track in the middle distance among scattered trees and coconut palms. Small figures are faintly visible far off near the parked vehicles, and a yellow auto-rickshaw appears at the right edge near white rock-cut hills.2006-12-10Elevated view from a balcony of a brick building over an active construction site at an ashram campus. In the foreground, excavated trenches and mounds of reddish-brown earth sit behind a green mesh fence and blue tarpaulin. Workers in dark clothing are visible at the trench edge at left. A blue tractor with a trailer loaded with gravel drives along a dirt track in the centre, beside a pile of grey stones. Beyond are white and grey corrugated-roof sheds, a row of water tanks, a water tower, and scattered trees under an overcast sky. Clothes hang to dry on a rack on the balcony at right.2009-07-09A wide, overcast view of an unpaved dirt construction yard lined with red-brick buildings with green tin roofs. A yellow JCB backhoe loader and a yellow dump truck are parked on the right, with a red-and-orange bus and a small red vehicle further back. A few distant workers walk across the dirt, and scaffolding and stacked gravel are visible. No a person candidate is visible.2013-07-28April 13 20132013-04-13A photograph of an unpaved, sandy-red dirt compound with a pile of grey stone rubble and cut paving blocks in the foreground. Behind it stand red-brick multi-storey buildings with flat parapets and a green-roofed low structure, with a rocky, quarried hillside and scrubby trees beyond under an overcast sky. No people are visible.2014-09-04A wide outdoor photo of a bare, dusty sandy construction site under a pale overcast sky. Several red-brick multi-storey buildings with flat roofs stand in the background, one with rooftop water tanks and another partly built with exposed rebar. Yellow backhoe loaders and a yellow tipper truck are parked at the left beside a low red-roofed shed, and a pile of gravel sits near the centre. A grey shipping-style container sits at the right of centre, a lone small tree stands in the right foreground, and a white SUV is parked at the far right edge. A single distant pedestrian walks across the open ground. No ritual, assembly or discourse is visible.2013-07-18September 05 20142014-09-05September 25 20142014-09-25September 16 20162016-09-16April 04 20142014-04-04 +1 copies
