The saffron-clad person rests one hand on the older man's shoulder while seated beside a laptop and a water bottle. Behind them, a woman in a white sari with a red bindi and another woman in a white sari watch closely, and several people sit in the blurred background under bright overhead lights.2010-02-04A photograph of an indoor event at night under bright ceiling lights. A bearded man in an orange sleeveless top and a long white floral garland stands at left, his hands on the head of a seated devotee in a cream short-sleeved shirt who leans forward with eyes closed. Behind them, out of focus, another person in light clothing and a red-and-white flower arrangement fill the foreground at left. The figure in orange has long, swept-back dark hair and a full beard, with distinctive saffron clothing and a garland, which are visible appearance cues, but his face is partly in shadow and his identity cannot be confirmed from the image itself, so he is labelled only as a probable Swamiji by appearance. The scene suggests a blessing being given to a devotee, with a sandalwood-coloured tilak mark visible on the figure in orange.2010-02-07Indoor photograph of a devotional blessing at a ritual gathering. In the centre, a person in an orange-saffron robe with dark hair in a bun applies a mark to the forehead of an older man in a white shirt with a light vertical stripe and a mala around his neck. A woman in a red top and gold earrings reaches in from the left. Behind them, a man in white kurta with a yellow shawl and a red tilak stands near men in white and red-orange shawls. On the right, a brass tray holds flowers and fruit. The background has a patterned wall panel with elephant motifs and maroon curtains, and a ceiling fan is visible.2009-11-17 +1 copiesFebruary 07 20102010-02-07June 04 20062006-06-04A photograph of a long-haired figure in an orange saffron shawl and multiple rudraksha malas placing his right hand on the forehead of an older man bending forward. The older man wears a white kurta with a gold-embroidered collar and a blue-and-brown cord with beaded necklaces. The setting is an indoor room with pale pink walls and a dark red curtain at left. The scene appears to show a blessing or pada-puja style darshan. The orange-clad figure matches the appearance cues of a saffron-robed sannyasi with rudraksha malas, a person, giving a blessing to a devotee.2011-12-11
