A copper-toned metal deity murti of a standing goddess in a yellow sari stands within an ornate copper arched frame with carved lion-like figures at its base. White jasmine garlands loop over the frame and red rose garlands sit at the shoulders, with a red bindi on the forehead, a tall crown, layered jewelled necklaces and a rudraksha-style bead mala. The murti rests on a gold-bordered red brocade cloth on a pedestal ringed with magenta and pink flower garlands. Behind it a wall of marigolds and purple flowers rises, with a pink silk fabric in the foreground. No people are visible.2012-04-30April 24 20122012-04-24A gilded copper statue of a deity stands within an ornately carved copper arch framed by rearing lion-like figures and floral panels.
