Outdoor street scene of women devotees standing behind a long white-draped table laden with offerings. Foreground: a large brass tray of marigold and yellow flower garlands, green leaves and a coconut, with pineapples, bananas and fruit plates beside it. Four or five women in saris, including one in a yellow sari with a gold border and one in an orange sari, stand with palms pressed together in prayer. A traffic police officer in khaki uniform walks in the background past a parked auto-rickshaw, with a few other men near the roadside. No clearly identifiable a person is visible in the frame.2010-11-21Several metal offering trays are arranged on a dark paved road at night, holding bananas, halved coconuts, oranges, grapes, betel-leaf packets with printed labels, and scattered pink flower petals. Only the lower bodies of people in white clothes are visible, with their hands placing or adjusting the trays. A brass oil lamp stands at the upper left edge. The scene suggests an outdoor ritual offering on a procession route.2006-10-09June 01 20122012-06-01 +1 copiesNovember 21 20102010-11-21Outdoor puja on a white cloth-covered table with two women seated on the grass.
