The male figure wears a white cloth with purple-edged borders wrapped as a turban, and a red tilak marks the forehead of each murti. A silver-toned hand holding a lotus stem rests between them. The setting is a procession-style floral decoration, consistent with an idol procession.2006-11-01April 22 20132013-04-22September 04 20132013-09-04 +2 copiesDecember 23 20092009-12-23October 14 20062006-10-14April 22 20132013-04-22Close photograph of two bronze processional images draped in heavy garlands of white jasmine, yellow marigold and magenta flowers. The figure on the left wears a tall golden turban with a red tilak on the forehead and a silver-embroidered, jewelled garment; its right hand is raised in blessing. The figure on the right wears a jewelled crown, a beaded silver collar and holds a curved ritual staff or weapon-like implement. Both are bronze murti rather than living people. Behind them stands a golden flame-shaped finial and a dark interior with a fluorescent tube light overhead. Date stamp 14 10 2006 along the left edge.2006-10-14Photo 11735959
