Many men wear white shirts and white dhotis, while women in saris stand among them, including one in an orange sari and an older man with a long white beard in an orange-red garment. Pedestrians stretch into the distance, and sandals lie scattered on the roadside.

A dirt path runs between a tall red brick wall on the left and a row of palm trees and shrubs on the right, under a pale sky. A long line of people walks along the path, most wearing white dhotis and white shirts or kurtas, while women wear saris and salwar in pink, red, blue and lavender. Some carry white and yellow cloth bags, and one man in a blue shirt carries a black bag. A girl in a red jacket walks near the front. Orange marigold-like flowers grow in the foreground, and a small palm sapling stands at right. Many attendees appear to be walking in an orderly procession toward the distance.

A dusty dirt path runs through a tree-lined grove under strong backlight from the sun in the upper right. Several children and young people in pastel salwar kameez, including light blue, white with blue print, and a yellow-beige outfit, walk away from the camera toward the distance. Some have long plaits. Tall trees and palms frame the path, and more people are faintly visible further back.
